Summary: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering all incoming calls in the warehouse office and assisting all salesmen, managers, and/or customers with any requests/issues that might arise concerning the warehouse to completion.
Primary contact for all customer service calls that come through the warehouse office.
Provide professional and courteous assistance to all inside and outside customers, answering any
basic warehouse questions.
Research and consult with other team members concerning inquiries to provide accurate and
timely solutions to caller.
Transfer calls to the appropriate office personnel or department after obtaining specific purpose
Maintain a call log to determine volume and nature of calls.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products beneficial. Basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform duties with minimal or no supervision. Must have a professional and courteous attitude. Must be an energetic team player and able to work with diverse personalities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone. Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places. Ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 70 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 70 lbs.
