Job Description:

Software Developer

Our developers are involved in all phases of the software development life cycle working both independently and in teams. They are expected to design, develop, test, install and maintain software to meet provided specifications.

Developers will be expected to learn Visual Basic, C#, and possibly Java. Although we primarily use Microsoft software, we will work with whatever technology best suites our business needs.

Developers are expected to be problem solvers, have excellent analytical skills, and to be quick learners.

Qualifications:

Skills Required

• One plus years of experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with SQL
• Projects
  • Ability to show that they can take instruction and understand advanced problems
  • Ability to suggest improvements in current technologies
  • Ability to independently work on small projects if given mockups and work items
• Code Reviews
  • Ability to review small change requests and bugs for entry level developers
• Research
  • Able to independently research .NET issues and problems
  • Able to independently research basic EES data rules 

Desired Skills

• .NET Framework
• C#, Visual Basic .NET, and/or Java
• ASP.NET MVC
• Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) experience
• Team Foundation Server or other version control system
• Agile and Scrum development methodologies
