Job Description:

UPS/Shipping Associate-Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

The Shipping Associate will be in charge of shipping all UPS packages daily, and LTL freight.  · Pick, Pack and Ship UPS packages.. · Pick and Prepare freight shipments (Shrink wrap, weigh pallets etc.).  Request LTL rate quotes, prepare freight bills, schedule freight pickups. · Process RGA’s for shipment by UPS or freight. Track errors on UPS and Freight shipments.Contact all necessary parties with any shipping issues.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to perform duties with minimal or no supervision. Forklift and other heavy machinery certification obtained within one month of start date. Ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead.Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly. Operate a Sit-down forklift after training. Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
